How it works

A paid-entry, skill-based fitness challenge.

Participants pay an Entry Fee to join a challenge with fixed, published rules. Their Stake forms the Prize Pool. Everyone who meets the daily step goal on every required day qualifies, and qualifying participants split the pool equally. Activity is verified through Apple Health.

The loop

Put something on the line.

No bets, no odds, no luck. Whether you finish is entirely up to you, and everyone who does gets paid.

The mechanic

What determines the outcome.

Fixed rules, published before entry
Every challenge states its daily step goal, its duration, the number of days you must complete, and the full Entry Fee breakdown. Those terms are captured when you join and cannot change while you are in it.
No randomness, no discretion
There is no draw, no odds, and no element of chance. Mosey does not choose who wins. Qualification is computed from verified daily activity against a published threshold.
No wagering on external events
Nothing depends on a sporting fixture, a market, or another person’s performance — only on the participant’s own activity.
Everyone can qualify
Participants do not compete against each other. There is no ranking and no cap on winners. One person qualifying never prevents another from doing so.

Money

Where every cent goes.

Stake
Into the Prize Pool for that challenge. Nothing else enters the pool.
Service fee
Platform revenue. Never added to or deducted from a pool.
Creator fee
Paid to whoever created the challenge, where one applies. Never part of a pool.
Prize Pool at settlement
Split equally between qualifying participants, each share rounded down to the cent.
Indivisible remainder
Retained, rather than awarded to an arbitrary participant.
Pool with no qualifiers
Retained. Stakes are not returned, which is stated before entry.

Paid-entry contests are regulated differently in different places. Mosey is offered only where we are able to offer it, and eligibility is confirmed before entry. We do not claim that Mosey is available everywhere, and nothing here should be read as a statement about the law in your location.
